Cambrian United return to the M&P Group 3G on Friday evening when we welcome Holywell Town for our latest Novira Cymru Premier fixture.

Liam Williams’ side go into Friday’s game sitting 10th in the Novira Cymru Premier, having collected nine points from their opening seven fixtures.

That result followed another 2-2 draw against Penybont at the M&P Group 3G, with the Cam continuing to demonstrate that we can compete against established top-flight opposition.

The Opposition
Like Cambrian United, Holywell Town earned promotion to the expanded Novira Cymru Premier ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The Wellmen are back in the top flight for the first time in 27 years, having last competed at this level during the 1998/99 season. FAW Cymru Leagues
Holywell picked up their first point of the campaign last Friday with a 1-1 draw against fellow promoted side Trefelin. Despite a difficult start to the season, the visitors have scored 10 goals in seven matches and will travel south determined to build on that result.
Cambrian will therefore need to be fully focused as both clubs look to secure an important three points under the Friday night lights.
A Big Community Evening
There will be plenty happening before and during Friday’s game, with supporters encouraged to arrive early.
Rhondda Radio will lead the matchday entertainment and communications, with Wayne Crichton managing the music and announcements from the temporary PA system by the gantry.
The RSD Covergirls will begin their pre-match cheerleading show at 6:45pm before returning to the pitch for a special half-time performance.
Based at Ynyswen Welfare Hall, the Covergirls are raising funds after receiving a bid to compete at the Prep & Rec Grand Nationals at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, in April 2027.
