Cambrian United FC are delighted to confirm that First Team Manager Liam Williams has committed to lead the club into the historic 2026/27 Cymru Premier season.

A Journey Like No Other
Liam’s journey with Cambrian United is truly unique. Born into the club, with his father Phil Williams playing a driving role in its development, Liam has grown alongside Cambrian every step of the way.
From supporter to player, and from coach to manager Liam has lived every layer of this football club.
He played a key role during the early development of the academy, helping shape the pathway that now defines the “One Cambrian” vision. As a player, he wore the badge with pride. As an assistant manager, across two separate spells, he developed his leadership and tactical understanding of the game.
Building His Own Legacy
Determined to forge his own path, Liam stepped away to build his managerial career — and did so with real success.
At Blaenrhondda AFC, he led the team to league success, winning the South Wales Alliance League, before moving on to manage Ton Pentre AFC, further strengthening his reputation as one of the most exciting young managers in Welsh football.
But Cambrian was always home.
Leading Cambrian to New Heights
Since returning, Liam has taken Cambrian United to levels the club has never reached before.
Under his leadership, the club has achieved promotion to the Cymru Premier — a historic milestone that places Cambrian United at the very top of Welsh domestic football for the first time.

Now, Liam Williams will lead Cambrian United into its first-ever season in the Cymru Premier.
