Another outstanding season of professional club signings for Cambrian United Academy!
The year began with more players taking the next step into the professional game:
97 – Archie Peachey – Newport County U9s
98 – Jackson Ingram – Swansea City U14s
99 – Cole Bowden – Cardiff City U14s
Then came the milestone everyone had been waiting for…
One of the Academy’s major ambitions has always been to become the first FAW Academy to reach 100 professional club signings, and that piece of history will forever belong to Lewys Watts, who became our 100th professional signing after joining Bristol Rovers U10s.
History was made again shortly afterwards when Harper Lee became the first girl to progress from Cambrian United Academy to a professional club, joining Aston Villa Girls Academy and playing a year up at U10 level.
Next, Jonah Morris secured his move to Newport County U9s, quickly followed by Logan Foster, who signed for Bristol City U11s.
Then came three talented U8 players who had patiently waited for their opportunities to arrive. Noah Reynolds became signing No.104, joining Swansea City U9s for the 2026/27 season.
Logan Saunders, who has made a remarkable transition from an outstanding outfield player into a goalkeeper earning rave reviews from coaches across the UK, became No.105 after signing for Cardiff City U9s.
Rudey Huntley, who lives just a stone’s throw from the M&P 3G, completed the trio as No.106, agreeing to join Cardiff City U9s for 2026/27.
All three began their journeys with us in our Infantry programme as U6s, meaning that six of this season’s professional signings started their development in our Pre-Academy programme.
And the signings didn’t stop there.
Only last week, Emiliano Moro left our exceptionally talented U9 group to join Swansea City following an impressive eight-week trial.
A remarkable season
From professional debuts to historic milestones, 2025/26 has been another tremendous year for Cambrian United Academy. Reaching 100 professional signings is a landmark achievement for everyone connected with the club and a testament to the hard work of our players, families and staff.
We are immensely proud of every player who has earned the opportunity to continue their development within the professional game and look forward to following their journeys with great interest.
