Cambrian United are delighted to announce the signing of defender Harrison Bright ahead of the club’s first season in the Cymru Premier. The 22-year-old arrives at the M&P Group 3G with significant experience despite his young age, having progressed through the professional ranks at Newport County before gaining valuable experience in the Cymru Premier.
Born in Blaenavon, Bright came through the academy system at Newport County and made his senior debut for the club in the EFL Trophy in 2020 before making his Football League debut in League Two. He would go on to gain further experience through spells with Pontypridd United and Barry Town United before establishing himself in the Welsh top flight.
Primarily a right-back, Harrison can also operate across the defensive line and in wider positions, bringing versatility, energy and Cymru Premier experience to Liam Williams’ squad. He has also represented Wales at Under-18 level, highlighting his pedigree and potential.

After completing his move to Cambrian United, Harrison said:
