Cambrian United return to Novira Cymru Premier action tomorrow evening as Liam Williams’ side travel to Cyncoed Campus to face Cardiff Met.
The Cam Army head into the match following an entertaining 2–2 draw against Penybont at the M&P Group 3G on Bank Holiday Monday. Goals from Dylan Edwards and Liam Eason earned Cambrian a valuable point in front of another fantastic home crowd.
Tomorrow’s hosts have made a strong start to the campaign. Cardiff Met recorded a 5–0 victory away to Ammanford on Monday, following a 3–0 home win over Briton Ferry Llansawel in their previous fixture.
Cambrian have already demonstrated their ability to compete at this level during the opening weeks of our historic first season in the top flight. The squad will now look to deliver another positive performance against one of the league’s established sides.
The fixture also carries history between the clubs. Cambrian faced Cardiff Met in the 2019 Nathaniel MG Cup final, with the Archers winning 2–0 at Jenner Park.
With another demanding test awaiting in the capital, the players will once again be backed by the travelling Cam Army under the Friday-night lights.
