Cambrian United are delighted to confirm that JD Cymru South Player of the Season Liam Eason will remain at the club for the 2026/27 season as we prepare for our historic first campaign in the Cymru Premier.
Eason played a pivotal role in the club’s promotion-winning season, contributing 23 goals and 15 assists across all competitions. His performances throughout the campaign saw him recognised as the JD Cymru South Player of the Season, underlining his importance to Liam Williams’ side.

The talented forward becomes another key member of last season’s squad to commit his future to the club as preparations continue for life in the Cymru Premier.
Speaking after agreeing to remain at the M&P Group 3G, Eason said:
“I can’t wait to get going. What better way to experience my first season in the Cymru Premier than with a great group of boys. We’ve got a squad full of local lads who will fight for each other and fight for this club all season. 👊🏽”
“Last season was special, but now our focus is on the challenge ahead. Everyone is excited to test ourselves at the next level and I’m looking forward to playing my part in what should be another exciting chapter for Cambrian United.”

Head Coach Liam Williams added:
“Keeping Liam at the club was a huge priority for us. His quality on the pitch is there for everyone to see, but he also embodies everything we’re about as a club. He works hard, leads by example and has a fantastic relationship with the group.”
“His contribution last season was outstanding and we’re delighted he’ll be with us as we take on the challenge of the Cymru Premier.”

Everyone at Cambrian United is thrilled that Liam will continue his journey with the club and we look forward to seeing him in blue again during our first-ever Cymru Premier campaign.
