Cambrian United are back under the Friday night lights as we welcome Flint Town United to the M&P Group 3G for our latest Novira Cymru Premier fixture.
Following a memorable first Cymru Premier home fixture against Briton Ferry Llansawel, which ended in a 1-1 draw, attention now turns to another big test as Flint Town make the journey south to the Rhondda.
It’s another opportunity for the Cam Army to come together and get behind Liam Williams and the boys.
LAST TIME OUT
Friday night was another significant moment in the history of Cambrian United as Cymru Premier football arrived at the M&P Group 3G.
A Liam Eason penalty helped Cambrian secure a 1-1 draw against Briton Ferry Llansawel, earning our first home point of the season.
But the evening was about more than just the result. We welcomed families, supporters, partners and members of our community through the gates for a fantastic night at the club, with our new Fan Zone adding another dimension to the Cambrian matchday experience.
Now we want to build on it.
THE OPPOSITION – FLINT TOWN UNITED
Flint Town United make the long journey to the Rhondda on Friday evening for what promises to be another competitive Cymru Premier encounter.
The Silkmen bring plenty of experience at this level and will provide another strong test for Liam Williams’ squad.
For Cambrian, these opening weeks are about embracing every challenge that comes with competing at the highest level of domestic football in Wales.
TONYPANDY ALBION JOIN THE CAM ARMY
Friday will also be a special evening for youngsters from Tonypandy Albion, who will be joining us as our official matchday mascots and flag bearers.
The players will get the opportunity to be part of a Cymru Premier matchday at their local club, welcoming the teams onto the pitch ahead of kick-off.
Building stronger relationships with grassroots clubs across our community is a major part of what we want Cambrian United to represent.
We hope all the players, coaches and families from Tonypandy Albion have a fantastic evening with us.
FAN ZONE & MATCHDAY FOOD
Following a fantastic response at our opening home fixture, our Fan Zone behind the Mountain Side Stand will once again be open for Friday’s game.
Supporters will be able to enjoy the same food offering as our first home fixture, including:
Smash Burgers | Hot Dogs | Noodles | Chips | Loaded Fries
Food and refreshments will be available from our matchday catering team, giving supporters the opportunity to arrive early, grab something to eat and enjoy the build-up to kick-off.
The Fan Zone is about creating more than just 90 minutes of football. We want Friday nights at Cambrian to become a place where families, friends and supporters from across RCT can come together.
ARRIVE EARLY
With another strong attendance expected, supporters are encouraged to arrive early and purchase tickets online in advance wherever possible.
Getting to the ground early will give supporters plenty of time to enjoy the Fan Zone and food offering before taking their places ahead of the 19:45 kick-off.
Further information regarding parking and access to the ground will be shared across the club’s social media channels ahead of matchday.
